Durante il precedente tour, il colonnello Parker fisso' all'improvviso un ulteriore tour, piu' breve, al Lake Tahoe. Vnne fissato per recuperare gli spettacoli che erano stati persi durante l'ultimo ingaggio a Las Vegas. Fu un tour davvero sofferto per Elvis: 8 spettacoli in 4 giorni. Era un Elvis ormai esausto che comunque riusci' a portare a termine questo tour che l'ultimo del 1974.

18 Marzo - 1 Aprile 1975: Las Vegas

L'ingaggio era previsto per il 26 gennaio (fino sl 9 febbraio). A causa delle condizioni fisiche di Elvis venne interamente annullato e rimandato a quando il cantante fosse tornato in buono stato. Dopo due ricoveri ospedalieri abbastanza ravvicinati, Elvis torno' in sala di incicione ad inizio Marzo, per tre giorni. Quindici giorni dopo Elvis e la band si presento' all'Hotel Hilton. Anche questa volta l'ingaggio era ormai fissato a quindici giorni e non piu' a quattro settimane. Vennero introdotte nuove ballate come And I Love You So e Elvis sembro'in ripresa rispetto al precedente ingaggio e il suo impegno lo notarono non soltanto i fan ma anche la stampa.

Un nuovo Tour questa volta con un Elvis in buona forma. Vennero riprese alcune vecchie canzoni con degli arrangiamenti molto piu' curati e tutti i componenti della band (ma ancche la stampa) notarono che Elvis in ogni spettacolo metteva tutto se stesso. Fu un tour che riscosse un grande successo. Tutto sembrava che potesse tornare alla normalita. Il problema fu che questa atmosfera di euforia ritrovata, non duro' a lungo.

Elvis arrivo' a Las Vegas il 14 Agosto. Fino al 16 ci furono le prove per il nuovo ingaggio che questa volta era fissato a tre settimane di spettacoli. Ma i problemi fisici di Elvis divennero sempre piu' gravi. La sera di apertura fece un breve concerto concentrato soprattutto nella presentazione dei componenti della band. La sera successiva fece due veloci esecuzioni (il Dinner e il Midnight Show). Per le pessime condizioni fisiche Elvis aveva deciso di non cantare il 20 Agosto e di annullare l'intero ingaggio. Il Colonnello Parker lo obbligo' ad eseguire i due spettacoli il 20 Agosto. Poi, la mattina seguente Elvis lascio' l'albergo e venne ricoverato in ospedale.

Questo concerto si rivelo' un nuovo successo: 60.000 spettatori e 600.000 dollari incassati in un colpo solo. Furono due record incredbili; mai infatti una sala aveva ospitato un numero tale di spettatori e mai una star aveva guadagnato cosi' tanto per uno spettacolo. Fu un bello spettacolo anche se con qualche problema di audio e con i musicisti che congelavano dal freddo, in quanto fu uno spettacolo all'aperto. Elvis ricevette anche alcune minacce di morte prima del concerto; per questo motivo fu necessaria un alta sicurezza per tutto lo spettacolo.
Alla fine dello show Glen Hardin lasciò la band.

L'anno inizia davvero in modo molto strano. Dopo l'addio di Glen Hardin, altri membri della TCB band comunicano la loro intenzione di andarsene (da sottolineare anche l'addio dei Voice). Nel febbraio '76 Elvis torna in sala di registrazione (la quale per le sue condizioni fisiche, venne improvvisata all'interno della Jungle Room di Greceland) dopo questa session, James Burton comunico' la sua intenzione di andarsene dal gruppo. Il tour inizio' il 17 marzo con l'assenza di Ronnie Tutt, il quale venne sostituito dal batterista che lo sostiui' anche in alcuni pezzi durante la session del '76, Larrie Londin. Alla fine James Burton decide di rimanere.
